  • We expect great things from the Lord. Awareness of Christ's presence in our midst leads to the prioritization of prayer, and a real entrustment of our apostolate's fruitfulness to Him.

  • We treat every young adult like a future saint and an influencer. Young adults are souls called to eternal glory. They are the front line of our apostolate as true lay apostles, and each one leaves a mark on the community. It is not enough that we see them this way, they must feel it.

  • For us, initiative and innovation are habits. We treat our work with dignity as a way to glorify God, and practice prudent initiative and innovation as part of that work. 

  • We pursue exceptional experiences. Every meeting, event, and encounter with City on a Hill can and should be an excellent experience. Therefore, the details matter and every person should walk away with an impression of radical hospitality.

  • We are willing to fix tripods. Our team members are aware of the needs of the moment, and open to jumping in to fill a gap when the need arises.

  • We care for the whole person. Our staff values integrity of life and seeks to support each other in pursuing this. Additionally, the staff strives to empower each other to discover and live out God-given gifts and skills as well as continue to develop them.
